Any person
wishing to be employed at the West Lakes Aquatic Centre must first apply for
permission to teach through the Sport, Swimming & Aquatic Unit (DECD).
As we
offer a range of different activities at our centre, instructors are required to
hold a current qualification in each one of the activities they teach.
The minimum
qualification and issuing governing body for these activities is as follows:

must attend an annual Instructor conference and regular Staff, Training &
